The Transport for Ireland website provides general information on how people with disabilities can travel safely to, from and within Ireland. Links to other websites, which provide more detailed information, are also provided on their website:

Accessible travel is an on-going endeavour to ensure all operators provide safe, accessible and friendly access to all its passengers, regardless of their age or various disabilities. It is now possible to map out your journey before you depart. The TFI Journey Planner is Ireland’s only door-to-door route planner and the service also highlights if the mode of transport is wheelchair accessible.

The new TFI Live App may also be of interest in helping to plan your journey.

The new TFI Live app allows you to access real time departure and journey planning information across the Transport for Ireland (TFI) network.

Key features of the new TFI Live app include:
  • Ability to view real-time departure information for Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus, Go-Ahead Ireland, Luas and Iarnród Éireann;
  • Option to select your origin and destination to find the best route for your journey;
  • Search tool, for route specific timetables and maps;
  • Save your favourite journeys, departures and timetables for quick access on the go.

Download the TFI Live app on Android and iPhone for free.

See TFI Live webpage for more information and links to download the app.
