All events can be found on here
The three-month celebration runs from November 2024 to January 2025.
There are plenty of exhilarating events for everyone over the next few months.
November will shine a light on live events across the city, including music, comedy and theatre performances. Enjoy music recitals in allowed spaces and cosy evenings in some of Dublin’s famous venues. The now annual Christmas Market in Dublin Castle will of course be featured this year but on of the newer additions to the city's activities is Christmas Spectacular at Smithfield Square which will include an additional Christmas Market and Ice Museum among other highlights. The Gifted Craft and Design Fair also takes place in the RDS from December 4th to 8th and will showcase hundreds of designers, makers and artisan food producers selling craft goods.
December focuses on the festive season with a range of events happening throughout the month such as family Christmas experiences, festive light displays and twilight bus tours. This could be an ideal opportunity to treat the Grandkids to a festive experience such as a trip to the Panto, Wonderlights at Malahide Castle and Marlay Park or the amazing Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo.
An event that feels as much a part of the festive period as roast turkey and Christmas tree, the Leopardstown Christmas Festival is the highlight of the Winter calendar for horse racing enthusiasts. It runs from the 26th to the 29th December 2024 and guarantees fun whether you're a horse-racing fan or not.
January is a celebration of music. The month explodes with the New Year’s Festival and is delightfully rounded off with TradFest, with various other festivals taking place in between. Visitors will have the opportunity to navigate the cultural fabric of the city on magical walking tours, enjoy stories of icons on backstage tours and immerse themselves in attractions telling the stories of Dublin’s musical legends.

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel sits in the leafy suburb of Killiney on the south of the city and at the foot of Killiney Hill. The family owned hotel offers free parking, leisure centre and pool, and easy access to The James Joyce Museum and Dalkey Castle.
